In The Monsters of Morley Manor there are 4 and 1/2 people that have been turned into monsters and miniaturized. Bob the were-human (he’s normally a cocker spaniel); Gaspar the lizard-man; Albert the hunchback; Ludmilla the lady with snakes for hair (and no she’s not a gorgon); and Melisande the vampire. I haven’t finished this book yet (I’m on page 137) so I’m wondering if they’re from Earth or another planet/plane/dimension. What confuses me is that Gaspar, the lead monster,tells Anthony, the main character, that they were turned into monsters with a combination of science and magic.
